Information about a co-financed project
PRESS-SERVICE Monitoring Mediów was awarded funding from European Funds for the implementation of the project entitled:
“Estimation of the effectiveness of sponsorship activities and product placement with the use of technological solutions for automating the processes of acquisition, processing and evaluation of brand and product exposure in the media”.
The project is co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020. The program was submitted in cooperation with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center, in a competition organized by the National Centre for Research and Development.
As part of the project, PRESS-SERVICE plans to expand and automate the system’s processes which support the following of searched information in all mass media channels, i.e. press, radio and TV, Internet, podcasts and social media. What is more, the service will find and analyze all forms of information published in these media, i.e. text, voice, image and video content and their combinations.
It will develop technologies for monitoring and identifying logos, brands and products associated with them in media communications (product placement), sponsorship materials and the content created as part of “content marketing” and PR activities. A fundamental change in the method of providing services will be introduced by the automation of the processing of Internet audio-video (AV) content and the development of effective tools for its acquisition and archiving and, in the next step, calculating the value of brand exposure in these communications.
